Celebrating the Harvest Moon

We had a wonderful experience with watercolor and gauche. Folks walked in with hesitation but willingness to try something new. I knew they were going to rock it! We practiced with watercolor paints and a template, wet on wet techniques, that would be used in the moon. They nailed it! We mixed colors to create our dark pine trees. Nailed it! With confidence, the group was now ready to tackle the harvest moon painting.

My favorite part of teaching art is when I see shoulders relax on even the most novice artist and create an amazing painting. I appreciated the conversations and sharing of everyone’s experience with “art class” from school. Thank you for putting trust in me as you rediscover your innate creative skills. Thank you for spending the time at the ArtLounge310 to create and heal.
