Masterpiece revisited.

An artist brought in a masterpiece over 20 years old. Completed when she was 15 years old. She dug into new supplies, graphite and ink, and though it is not completed yet, I am inspired to what this work means to her creative journey. On a side note, she won $20 for this piece all those years ago from a women’s club that was selected to judge the art presented that day. For this artist, it was the masterpiece that inspired her to never stop doodling and she is so happy to revisit the work. To me, this is what art is all about - inspiration through sharing each other’s creativity.
